For as long as I can remember, creativity has been my safe space—a place where I could express, reflect, and find joy amidst the chaos of everyday life. But recently, my journey has taken on a deeper meaning.
As a revert to Islam, I’ve been on a path of learning, growth, and self-discovery. And now, I’ve found a way to merge my love for art with my desire to deepen my knowledge and share the beauty of Islam with others.
That’s why I’m so excited to introduce @sense.ofdeen, my new Instagram page dedicated to Islamic-inspired Art and reflections.
Why I Started This Page?
So one year ago, I embraced Islam, and since then, my life has transformed—a deep peace settled in my heart. Islam brought me ease I never imagined, and this Ramadan feels like a beautiful milestone on this journey.
I used to draw as a hobby and to express my creative side.. but now my illustrations hold deeper meaning. This page isn’t just about sharing art—it’s about creating a space where I could learn, grow, and connect with others on a similar journey.
As a revert, I’m constantly seeking to expand my understanding of Islam, and through this, I want to not only gain knowledge but also share inspiring messages in a creative way.
I believe that art has the power to touch hearts, to remind us of the beauty of faith, and to make even the simplest words resonate deeply. With every piece I create, my goal is to reflect on meaningful reminders, spread positivity, and inspire others—just as I am inspired every day by this journey of faith. If I can inspire or positively impact even one person’s life through this account, then every effort will be worth it.

Working on this page while working full-time is a challenge, but it’s one I’m ready for. If there’s anything I’ve learned, it’s that we don’t have to choose between responsibilities and creativity—we can make space for both.
It’s about small, consistent efforts that keep the passion alive.

My Long-Term Vision, InshaAllah
While my main focus now is to build a community, grow my network, and gain trust, I do have a dream for the future. InshaAllah, as I improve my skills and develop my artistic style, I hope to launch my own small business—creating Islamic-inspired stationery, stickers, and other creative pieces that bring joy and benefit to others.
But for now, my heart is set on learning, sharing, and connecting with people who appreciate the beauty of Islam and creativity combined.
